The plus sign (+) in @+id/text1 means that the ID text1 will be created if it doesn t exist already. There is more to this resource ID syntax. We ll talk about that next.

The origins of Prototype are shrouded in mystery like Stonehenge, the Dead Sea scrolls, and the universe itself. Well, that may be overstating it.
